Entering Lower Key Stage 2 with boundless curiosity and enthusiasm, she has demonstrated mastery across both foundational mathematics and empirical scientific investigations. In Mathematics, Summer has achieved rapid mental arithmetic recall of her 3, 4, and 8 times tables, and displays a deep conceptual understanding of fractional quantities and place value up to 1,000 using concrete manipulatives and pictorial representations.
In Science and Computing, Summer's passion is evident in every lesson. She built multi-sprite animated interactive stories in Scratch 3.0, showing a great understanding of stage coordinates and repeat loops. Her Junior Showcase — a curated Paleontological Museum Box — was an absolute highlight of the Summer Term, demonstrating advanced vocabulary and confident oratory beyond her years.
